ABOUT WE-DESIGN.ORG
ORIGINS:
Established in 2003, and officially launched as a collective in 2008, WE-DESIGNS.ORG is currently a multi-disciplinary creative group. As a developmental and collaborative team of creatives (architectural + design) individuals, all our designs are established within the international standard, detailed orientated, quality within multiple design functions, but not limited to: interactive installation, architectural, urban planning, and research-based design schemes.
Interested in the emergent, interactive, and progressive/dynamic investigation of architecture + design, the WE-DESIGNS.ORG 「Team」 members are composed of an international base of ingénue designers from distinctive backgrounds + multifaceted design fields, which hence produce a differentiated approach to the integral design within a project.
ORGANISATION:
WE-DESIGNS.ORG is originally founded by Wendy W Fok, an Architectural/Product designer + Material Research Group member for COOP-HIMMELBLAU—educated with a Masters from Princeton University’s School of Architecture, an Urban Policy/Planning Certification from the Woodrow Wilson School, a touch from the Bartlett, and a Bachelors of Art of Architecture/Economics at Barnard/Columbia University.
Depending on a project—whether it is a project focused on architecture, a photoshoot, or a branding campaign—a professional + selective group within the talent base of WE-DESIGNS.ORG would be selected to best execute + produce + design the project.
WE-DESIGNS.ORG takes its design theories + experimental approach collectively as a design collaborative from all its diverse members. All decisions are considered from the members within the ‘pool’ of designers, + points of views from within the Team, before a project is finalised.

JAMES LEALAND: London, UK
(Team Member: Photographer/DJ/Designer)James Lealand is jameslealand.com.
His site is now one year old. 30,000 images that have been made in 8 countries spanning 3 continents have all gone towards the various pictures shared in the last 12 months. Currently based and working freelance in London covering everything from events, reportage, portrait, product and wedding photography as well as honing his skills with fashion photography retouching and always exploring new techniques and building up the experience and equipment necessary to bring out the best in the things he is fortunate enough to see.He has recently been published recently in the Labour Briefing magazine and DJ Magazine in Amsterdam with further publications on the horizon. His recent work with Kingpin Marketing and the Stay Up Forever music collective has provided new fresh challenges and with all of this in mind he thought it was time to make some updates.
New to the site are the Fashion Retouching, London and Portraits galleries as well as updates to the Landscapes and Graffiti galleries. Fashion retouching shows examples of some of the skills that have been learnt to create the magazine look that we see from those 'perfect' models in magazines, pay close attention to the before and after images in that one. The London gallery is about showing some of the things he really loves about his home city especially now the summer is with us. This city truly comes alive from large public protests to relaxing in the park, just taking in the sights of this architecturally rich city is a pleasure. In the Portrait gallery you will see a mixture of both personal and professional work, with images of friends and clients that James has been commissioned to work with. He has found portrait work to be the most challenging aspect of photography and one he intends to pursue much further.
Another major change to the site has been a reduction in the amount of sections now. Purely focusing on photos and feedback and have removed the news and ordering sections. Although very happy with the amount of prints sold from the site James has recently found himself too busy to keep doing the orders alone. However anyone interested in obtaining or enquiring any of his work or services can do so via the feedback section on the site here.
